Andrew H. Covner Ventura Bankruptcy Attorney
Mr. Covner received his undergraduate education at the University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating with a B.A., in Religious Studies. He attended the Santa Barbara College of Law in the evening while working full time during the day. During law school, he interned for one year at the Santa Barbara County Counsel's Office. Mr. Covner was the Valedictorian of his law school graduating class in 1997. In April, 1998, Mr. Covner began his legal career with a civil litigation law firm in Ventura. His practice consists of representing individuals, and private and public entities, in lawsuits involving medical and dental malpractice (defense only), employment law, automobile accidents, personal injury and wrongful death, and construction defects. He also practices in the areas of contract, business and real property law. Mr. Covner is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association, the Ventura County Trial Lawyers, and the Jerome H. Berenson American Inn of Court. He serves as a volunteer Judge Pro Tem for the Ventura County Superior Court.
